From the beginning quality was a pillar of our philosophy. By way of outstanding
domestic cinema productions, we believe that Austrian culture can be made famous
beyond the nation's borders. Cult Film Productions wants to entertain a television
audience on the one hand, but also to confront a wide range of viewers with
extraordinary experiences through documentaries. It was always of great importance
to us that we develop the contents of the Films ourselves or in cooperation with
TV channels and authors. Cult Film Productions not only sees itself as "executive"
producer for television channels but also as an active developer of film projects - from
developing the content to realizing the film.
Since 1992 Cult Film Productions has completed 50 film projects. Our success is
based on our belief in the success of our projects and, that with this belief we can
master the most difficult situations and challenges in film production.
Today Cult Film Productions is a famous and renowned company far beyond the
Austrian borders.
In April 2009 Niki List suddenly passed away. Both personally and artistically his
death was a tremendous loss for our company. From that point onwards,
Cult Film Productions film projects are overseen and produced by KR Burkhard Ernst
and Konstantin Seitz. The spirit of Niki List lives on at Cult Film Productions and we
continue to be committed to his film heritage.
In the future we wish to continue our creative and successful cooperation with
national and international filmmakers. Also, in the years to come, supporting
talented young bloods will remain of great importance to us.
